About Indwisco Limited
History:
Indwisco Limited was founded in 1973 and has served industrial wire and bar customers in Ontario, the northern USA and beyond for almost 40 years.
Indwisco (named for industrial wire supply company) has been and continues to be a leader in providing quality and precise straight and cut steel bar for a broad range of applications, from wire displays to automotive parts. A key component of Indwisco's success over these many years is due to our commitment to superior customer service.
Indwisco was founded to provide the service of straightening and cutting wire to our customers' specified lengths, but over the years the business has evolved into drawing wire from hot rolled rod and in-line wire drawing and cutting, working with a variety of grades and specifications to meet all of our customers' steel round bar and wire needs.
In the summer of 2011, after over 30 years on Steelcase Road in Markham, Indwisco moved to a new facility on Keele Street in Concord, Ontario, providing us with 45,000 sq ft. and a prime location to better serve long-time customers and new business.

Our goal is to achieve total customer satisfaction and partner with our customers to enable us to supply a product that meets their specific and unique needs. Learning from our customers' feedback and our own internal assessments, we will strive for continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes. We will achieve these goals in an environment that supports and respects our employees, customers and suppliers.
Customers:
We supply over 500 customers across Canada and the United States. They can be found in such industries as Food Service Components, Metal Displays, Automotive Parts, Screw Machine Parts, Metal Furniture Components and beyond. Health & Safety Policy:
It is our health and safety policy to take all the necessary and responsible steps to reduce or eliminate exposure of employees to accidental injury and conditions which may adversely affect their health. Indwisco Limited will meet all legislated requirements in this effort. No job is so important that we cannot take the time to perform our work safely. The conservation of our company's resources, including the safety of every employee, is a matter of greatest concern to us, and it demands the maximum effort of all concerned.
The Management Team at Indwisco is committed to continually improving our safety performance and will authorize the necessary programs to achieve this objective. We encourage our employees' participation in our safety efforts and we are confident that positive results will be achieved.
Environmental Policy:
Indwisco takes all possible steps to respect the enviroment and minimize any adverse impact our production may have on the surrounding area. This includes but is not limited to:
- Employing a mechanical de-scaling process on hot rolled rod, eliminating the need for hazardous chemical baths.
- 100% recycling of all scrap metal, including all mill scale and dust from wire drawing and de-scaling.
- Using primarily recylced packaging containers (including skids, gaylords, crates, bins and wire carriers).
- Recycling and safely disposing of all used oils and drawing compounds.
